General Manager

Pedro brings a wealth of experience and a can-do approach to his role as General Manager at Chris Madrid’s. He began his professional journey with the restaurant the week after he graduated from high school. A member of the team for more than a decade, he has served in many roles including busboy, a variety of front counter and to-go positions, dishwasher, cook, bartender and even security! With each position, he has enjoyed the ability to connect with clientele, share the story of the Original Chris Madrid’s and continue the mission of “loving on people through what we do.” Pedro believes that the ability to love on others through Chris Madrid’s iconic story and food is such a simple yet rewarding idea.

Speaking of food, Pedro’s favorite menu item is the Tostada burger, which he admits sounds a bit unusual but insists that “you get hooked instantly” after trying it the first time.

When Pedro is not focused on his responsibilities at the restaurant, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching the newest Netflix series or newly-released movie, playing video games and trying out new local eateries.

Manager

Brandon has been part of the Chris Madrid’s family since 2019, working in roles ranging from cashier and food runner to shift leader and bartender. Before joining us, he held a few summer retail jobs, but Chris Madrid’s was his first step into the hospitality world. What Brandon loves most about being here is creating a great experience not just for guests, but also for his teammates. He thrives on the laughter, camaraderie, and energy that fills the restaurant on a busy day, and he’s grateful to be part of a place that feels like family.

His Chris Madrid’s go-to order is the famous Tostada Burger made with Mama Madrid’s refried beans, chips, onions and melted cheddar cheese, topped with freshly made salsa and paired with crispy fries and an ice-cold Coke Zero. Outside of work, you can usually find Brandon working out at the gym, exploring new restaurants and bars around town or gaming online with his friends and siblings. For him, Chris Madrid’s isn’t just a workplace, it’s a community he’s proud to call home.

Floor Manager

Mercedes is a valued member of the DUO Restaurant Group, as Floor Manager at Chris Madrid’s for the past year and previously as a server for seven years with the Paloma Blanca Mexican Cuisine team.

Mercedes enjoys working with both the Chris Madrid’s team and customers because everyone is not just nice, but also very friendly. She is encouraged daily when she sees team members and customers laughing and smiling. Mercedes is grateful for the opportunity to join the Chris Madrid’s family as she begins this new chapter of her life and eagerly anticipates what is yet to come.

When not supporting the Chris Madrid’s team, Mercedes stays busy spending time with family as they cheer on her daughter who plays for her church basketball team and various other sports teams.

Mercedes enjoys the macho bean chalupa because it is one of the healthier menu items and super tasty. She also admits a weakness for Chris Madrid’s fries.

Event Coordinator

Beatriz has been employed with Chris Madrid’s since June of 2024, having worked previously with our sister company, Paloma Blanca, since 2007. She started with Paloma Blanca when she was 19 years old.

Interacting with people, assisting them with reaching their objectives and ensuring they have a memorable Chris Madrid’s experience are some of the things that Beatriz loves most about her job. She also names the Macho Nachos as one of her favorite dishes.

In addition to helping people host their special events. Beatriz has a 13 year old son named Hector, likes to travel to new places, and enjoys spending time with her family.
